If you happen to have old versions of SinCD+ or Sonic FreeLoader on your device you can use the switch version feature to easily switch between the old and new version. SinCD+ runs in the following order: old version first, followed by the new one, and of course the new version is updated to the current version.

For SinCD+, this requires using cheats by running before every run, going to the options screen, changing the Settings.SinCD+EnableSwitchVersion to Yes, and launching the game as usual. If the switch is enabled, Sonic CD will switch to the old version of SinCD+ for a short time when starting, and then return to the new one.
