Bidding Foundations 1 Workshops with Mary Elson This workshop series follows Mary’s beginner lessons 2-5. All lessons in this series are perfect for anyone who has learnt bridge in the last few years. Come to some or all. Lessons run online through Real Deal Bridge on Friday afternoons from 2.00pm – 4.00pm and are repeated on Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm – 8.30pm (times listed are AEST/Melb/Syd/Bris).
Fri 3/9 +/or Wed 8/9 Opening in a major suit and how the responder raises to show points.
Fri 10/9+/or Wed 15/9 Opening in a minor suit and responding to a minor suit opening + using distribution points.
Fri 17/9 +/or Wed 22/9 More bidding after a minor suit opening: Opener and responder’s second bid.
Fri 24/9+/or Wed 29/9 Changing suit after a major suit opening + opener and responder’s strength ranges.
Every lesson includes: Quiz (emailed the day before the game, please book in as early as possible), 20 minute pre game voice lesson, play 8 boards, post-game analysis.
Cost: 50 RDB credits per session (a bit more than a coffee) or eligible for 30 Day Golden Ticket holders. So flexible! Two great time slots and no need to commit for all lessons!
