What is Swiss Pairs?

In Swiss Teams you play a round (8-9 boards at the RDB Congress) against another pair. This is compared to the average of the other results around the room. The draw in the first round is random however, in subsequent rounds you will compete against players who are doing as well (or not) as your partnership.
